Heran Factions
In the wake of the last war between the Republic of Heran and the Vander Reich the galaxy has entered a period of cold war and much vying for power between the different leaders of the galaxy.

The Republic of Heran
The republic of heran was formed about 200 years ago in the wake of the hive war. They are the current standing superpower in the galaxy and set most of the standards of living to its surrounding countries.
Specialist Branch
A branch of the military intended to carry out high caliber operations and high profile missions for the military.
M.I. (military intelligence)
The primary intelligence branch of the republic and responsible for much of the current anti terror mechanisms in place in the government.
The Vander Reich
The current dictatorship ruling over much of the eastern sectors of heran which was formed from the remains of several inner world colonies.
The Synthetic Territories
There are two known AI races that exist within these territories though no one knows what they seem to call themselves. They seem to be at war for reasons that the rest of organic society can not fully grasp and so after some intense hostilities they have been left to mind their own affairs.
The Hive
Nation of insectoid aliens that formed out of mutual interest. They are currently a major producer in the galaxy but are not allowed to maintain their own military in the aftermath of the war. They are still however an active faction in modern politics and have a sizable influence under the republic.
The Warrior's Cabal
A collection of aliens who are allied under a mutual defense pact. Their societies have bleed together resulting in one of the most significant fighting forces outside of the republic and Reich. They are spread thin with warriors all over but are a people unified by their culture.
The Hero's Association
The hero’s association is an intergovernmental organization that tracks the emergence of super powered individuals and sets laws and regulations in countries to help define how they can help people. It set the universal law on licensed hero work (You are allowed to assist authorities in the capture of dangerous elements and will be covered for any damages relative to the extent of the situation. However you cannot kill individuals outside of warefare scenarios or matters of disproportionate powered individuals.). It is also known to be one of the few organizations to be allowed to work inside of the vander Reich.
The Hunters Lodge
An intergovernmental organization founded by a society of huntsmen and bounty hunters. Their jobs are to hunt dangerous elements in a society for a bounty. Because of the nature of their work they have been known to have a limited form of diplomatic immunity between the nations the lodge is contracted with. This has led to many stories and controversies around the organization making them very mysterious and enigmatic to the public’s perception.
The Knights of Paladyne
A religious order that is allied with several nations including the republic of heran. Their basic religion revolves around four cosmic forces(the alpha, omega, iota, and psi), which allegedly give them supernatural abilities. Similar to the hero’s association and the hunter’s lodge, they act outside of and with many governments. They have been known to sport a number of diplomatic and law enforcement privileges within the governments they treat with and have been rumored to unofficially take on several governments as protectorates. This has led to some complex feelings within the cultural zeitgeist of the galaxy, with some viewing them favorably and others viewing them as being too empowered.
